Over the years, practising as a Hair Replacement Specialist and Consultant Trichologist I have tried hard to help people with the very real problems of Hair loss, Thinning Hair and scalp problems. Those of us who suffer these problems can experience all sorts of depressions and embarrassments.

Realistic hair replacement is now the way forward, it's instant, very effective and can be undetectable, you can have as much or as little hair as you wish, it's quick, clean and gives you what you want, Hair! I do specialise in men's hair replacements but also cater for the ladies.

Hair Replacement done properly and realistically looks great and the more simple methods of fixing are far more hygienic and easy to maintain for the client than the so called permanent fixings which can be very expensive and messy and not very hygienic, far better to be able to remove your hair unit every few days or everyday if you wish and wash your own hair and the unit than leaving it on your scalp for 5 or 6 weeks or so.

I've tried to be honest and give advice and treatments that have been both helpful and effective and at the same time keeping away from so called wonder baldness cures, there aren't any, magic potions and prescription type of drugs that have potential side effects, we have enough problems keeping healthy without inviting such problems. Most hair loss thinning in men tends to be hereditary i.e. Male Pattern Baldness, there's also an opinion that "Stress" can have an adverse effect, also it's known that some medications can cause hair thinning. Women, unfortunately can often suffer the same fate, I wish that this wasn't so because I think for a female it's a particularly depressing event. Other forms of hair thinning i.e. because of a severe scalp condition, some forms of alopecia, damage from over perming and colouring the hair can respond successfully to natural trichological treatments. Always remember that long term benefits from hair and scalp treatments do take time, there's no instant fix and remember, Rome wasn't built in a day.

If you have bald areas on the crown and the temples you may consider having a hair transplant but please do shop around and always have a consultation with a reputable hair surgeon, your GP may be able to refer you to one, and ask to see a patient who has gone through the procedure.
